Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers was grinning from ear to ear as he visited a Glasgow hair salon for a post league win haircut.

Bridal and celebrity hairstylist Pamela Docherty was on hand to get the Hoops gaffer looking dapper after his team won the league on Wednesday night.

Rodgers walked into Peeky and Ty in the city after Celtic claimed their 54th Scottish title with a thumping 5-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Sharing a snap and a video of Rodgers with his fresh trim, a delighted Pam wrote: "Gaffer visiting @peekyandty. Swipe for two happy men."

In the video, Rodgers stood with the salon owner's Celtic fan partner as they both cheered and punched in celebration.

Last night, he addressed fans on the Celtic Way as he said: "I stood here just under a year ago and there was about 200 people and I said I'd see you back here in May. We have a few more than 200 here and this evening is about the players and the staff.

"The honesty of this group, everybody was writing them off from August. But they kept working and were honest to the game and to the club and tonight they get the reward. For the players, a massive, massive thank you.

"Secondly, from myself to my staff members the close members of the coaching team and the management team, and the analysis, the sports science, medicine everything you have to have that team behind you or I wouldn't be stood here. Their work, I appreciate so, so much. So thank you.

"And lastly to the supporters, when you manage Celtic, or play for Celtic or work for Celtic we actually live for you. Hopefully tonight you can be proud of the team and the club, and we can really celebrate on Saturday when the season finishes. So, thank you very much."
