Celtic players party with fans in Glasgow's Wunderbar hours after securing Premiership title

Celtic players celebrated with fans just hours after clinching the Premiership title yesterday evening as they took over a city centre bar.

Buzzing fans cheered on as players celebrated their championship win and took the the mic in Wunderbar in Glasgow's city centre just hours after defeating Derek McInnes's side 5-0 at Rugby Park.

The Daily Record reports that the crowd burst into a sing-along as Hoops stars Adam Idah and Stephen Welsh chanted 'Champions again'.

Further celebrations will be had in the city this weekend after Celtic secured their third title in a row and a 12th league title in 13 years.

One fan posted video footage of the clip on X saying, "Think big Adam needs some singing lessons."

Irish striker Idah scored the opener in just five minutes. Daizen Maeda netted the second, with James Forrest adding a third before half-time. Matt O'Riley scored a fourth early in the second-half before striking again himself to seal a magnificent 5-0 win for the Parkhead side.

Celtic needed just a point to retain their title after Saturday’s huge derby win over Rangers. The Scottish Premiership triumph sparked lively scenes of celebration in Ayrshire and down the M77 among the green half of Glasgow.
