Theresa May is set to face Jeremy Corbyn at PMQs just hours after a group of her own backbenchers issued their demands for a "hard Brexit".

The letter, described as a "ransom note" by Treasury select committee chair Nicky Morgan, has been signed by 60 Tory MPs, including Jacob Rees-Mogg and Ian Duncan Smith.

Its list of demands includes "full regulatory autonomy" for Britain after leaving the EU, reassurance of its status as an "equal partner" in negotiations, and an immediate start to trade talks elsewhere.

Meanwhile Mr Corbyn has been criticised by some for public statements he has made on the finance sector and the media.
