Brian Blessed tells coronavirus to 'b***** off' during 'Lorraine' interview
Flash Gordon star Brian Blessed had Lorraine viewers in stitches as he shouted that the coronavirus needs to “b***** off”.
The 83-year-old actor and TV star was chatting to Lorraine Kelly’s holiday stand-in Christine Lampard when the pandemic came up.
Staring into the camera, Blessed yelled: “This COVID virus I really want to say one swear word - b***** off!”
"We will beat it, it will go away, I believe in the human spirit and we are showing immense courage in this country, thanks to the NHS,” he added.
A red-faced Lampard rushed to apologise for Blessed’s blunder, telling viewers of the ITV show: “It has been the most extraordinary time.
“I am sure most of us would use even a stronger word than that, but obviously we can't and we will apologise for any bad language."
'You must just go for it and I am totally fearless!'
'I bench press 300lbs... I do 5 mile runs.'
