Britain's Got Talent final date confirmed as show 'takes over' ITV schedules
The date for this final of Britain's Got Talent 2024 has now been confirmed. And the bad news for anyone who's not a fan of the show is that it's going to dominate primetime TV every night next week.
Since its launch on ITV back in 2007, BGT has given us a whole host of winners, starting with Paul Potts in series one, before memorable victories for the likes of young street dancer George Sampson a year later; Diversity, who triumphed over hot favourite Susan Boyle in 2009, opera group Collabro and Lost Voice Guy, who won in 2018.
Last year's Britain's Got Talent was won by unpredictable and eccentric comedian Viggo Venn and now viewers will soon pick who they want to follow in his footsteps at the Royal Variety Performance. The final BGT audition episode of this year will air this coming Saturday, May 25, when viewers will see the judges make their final picks out of the new crop of hopefuls.
