Emma was 23 when she shot to fame on the ITV programme nine years ago, bringing the house down at her audition with a spine tingling rendition of Ave Maria by Andrea Bocelli. Her death was confirmed by a post on Facebook which read: "I'm sorry to have to tell you that Emma Jones has died. She died on Valentines Day after being diagnosed with multiple organ cancer. The doctor thinks it began as ovarian cancer and spread to other organs"
