British Blues-rock guitarist brings tour to Wimborne

An AWARD-winning British Blues-Rock guitarist will bring his tour to Wimborne in September.

Laurence Jones will bring his new tour to The Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne, on September 6 with a brand new full electric power trio guitar.

Jones promises to play songs from his new album, "Bad Luck & the Blues" which was released in August 2023 and blends deep-rooted blues with classic rock 'n' roll.

Laurence said: “I can’t wait for these shows. It’s been so much fun playing almost the full album, your support has been unbelievable and this is going to be a fantastic way to end the year on a high.

"Thank you again and see you down the front."

The Autumn dates have been confirmed to be the last opportunity for people to see Laurence before he takes on new songs, a new set list, and a new concept for 2025.

Prior to this, Laurence will open for Status Quo in May and June at Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow, Swansea Arena, Swansea, and the newly re-opened Civic Hall in Wolverhampton.

Laurence has said every performance matters to him due to his battle with Crohn's disease.
