This is the moment a British professional boxer is said to have hurled a chicken at WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in a branch of Nandos in Northern Ireland.

Billy Joe Saunders, 28, was filmed apparently fleeing the Belfast restaurant followed by members of Wilder's entourage after throwing a portion of chicken at the US boxing champ.

The pair were in the city ahead of Tyson Fury's clash with Italian heavyweight Francesco Pianeta. Fury is trying to court Wilder as a future opponent.

Video footage circulating online apparently shows Saunders sprinting for the exit of the restaurant with Wilder's pals in hot pursuit.

Hours earlier, Wilder clashed with Tyson Fury's father John at Tyson's weigh-in for his bout with Pianeta.

Wilder stormed into the room as Fury was being weighed Friday and shouted, "Bomb squad!"

Fury's father, who was on the stage, was held back as the pair shouted at each other in heated scenes.
