British holidaymakers are up in arms after being hit with a hefty £180 charge for sunbeds on the Costa del Sol. UK tourists have been warned to brace themselves for eye-watering sunbed fees as they flock to the popular Spanish destination this spring and summer.

Sublim, a swanky new beach bar in the Costa del Sol, has sparked outrage among Brits online. "You can almost buy a bed for this price," vented one disgruntled UK holidaymaker upon seeing the exorbitant fee.

"Prices totally off the wall. Way too pricey. I won't be attending! " declared another irate tourist. Meanwhile, a third chimed in to defend the establishment: "Simple answer. Walk away."

As the debate heated up, another commented: "Thanks, but no thanks, that's a little greedy."

On its social media, the beach club boasts of its "luxury" status, stating: "Our restaurant is a tribute to our Mediterranean heritage. Here, you can enjoy delicious food that pays homage to local ingredients and the region's culinary traditions. Whether on the terrace with sea views or in the warm interior, each meal is an experience in itself.", reports Birmingham Live.

"Every corner is an opportunity to explore, connect and enjoy. We invite you to take a walk through Sublim and discover the magic that resides in every detail. This is our commitment to you: to offer you a place where beauty, authenticity and passion intertwine to create unforgettable moments."

The €200 sunbeds come with a stipulation that they include €100 worth of food. However, visitors have criticised the food as well, labelling it expensive and overpriced, particularly after seeing the €10 tomato salad, which appears to be 12 tomato quarters sprinkled with salt.

Sublim Beach Club is perfectly situated in Estepona's esteemed Laguna Village, providing easy access and plenty of parking for guests. This prime spot guarantees that your visit is not just about the destination, but also the journey, offering breathtaking views and a tranquil ambiance from the moment you arrive.
