British woman found dead in hotel room in Switzerland after 'sex game gone wrong'
A British woman has been found dead in a hotel bathroom in Switzerland, according to reports.
The 22-year-old, named in reports as Anna Florence Reed, was found dead at the Hotel La Palma au Lac in Muralto, Locarno.
Her 29-year-old German boyfriend has been arrested and reportedly told police that Ms Reed died as the result of a “sex game” that went wrong.
The couple are believed to have been staying at the hotel, where Ms Reed was found dead on Tuesday morning.
According to reports, her boyfriend had told reception she was ill. They called paramedics who found the 22-year-old dead, and then contacted police.

According to local media, a post-mortem examination revealed that Ms Reed had died of suffocation.
It was also reported that fellow guests said they heard shouting and arguing from the couple’s room the night before Ms Reed was found dead.
The UK Foreign Office has confirmed it is offering consular assistance to the family following the death of a British citizen.
