Her Piece of Me tour will bring her back to Britain, having started her Piece of Me Las Vegas residency in 2013. After 250 shows, that came to an end in December of 2017, so it’s now time to dust off the tour bus again.

Billboard revealed that a staggering 900,000 tickets were sold to said residency, generating around £93 million; making it on of the most successful ever.

Britney, 36, shared the huge news to her 56.7 million Twitter followers, much to their glee.

‘I’m so excited to announce that we’re bringing the #PieceOfMe tour to select cities in North America, Europe and the UK! See you guys this summer,’ she tweeted.

Not only is the Baby One More Time singer about to embark on a 23-date tour across the world; six of those will be right here in the UK.

Britney’s going to be visiting us over the course of a month in summer, starting in Brighton on 4 August and ending in London on the 24th.

The UK dates are as follows:

4 August – Brighton Pride, Brighton
17 August – Scarborough, Open Air Theatre, Scarborough
18 August – Manchester Arena, Manchester
20 August – Sportspleis, Dublin
22 August – SSE Hydro, Glasgow
24 August – O2 Arena, London

Naturally, British-based fans were just a little bit excited for her arrival…

It’ll be the first time the Oops!… I Did It Again star has performed here since featuring at London’s Roundhouse in 2016, as part of the Apple Music Festival for a scaled-down version of her Vegas show.

Britney burst onto the music scene in 1998 with the single Baby One More Time, affirming itself as one of the best-selling singles ever, with over 10 million copies sold.

Her debut album of the same name came out at the beginning of 1999, reaching the top spot of the US Billboard 200.
