Brooklyn Beckham's cooking has been slated once again, with fans taking issue with him using stock from a carton in his "Scouse soup".

Budding chef Beckham – the eldest son of Spice Girl-turned-designer Victoria and football star David Beckham – shares plenty of culinary videos online but many have been criticised by fans.

A recent recipe using truffles was called tone deaf and his attempt at the ultimate Sunday roast horrified followers, with one saying the beef looked so raw that "a good vet could bring it back to life".

The 23-year-old switched things up with his latest meal, serving up a more budget-friendly soup that he told his Instagram followers was "one of my favourite dishes".

Some thought it looked "delicious" but others questioned why the star hadn't appeared to make his own stock.

One posted in the comments section: "If u love cooking u should make your own broth from bones and veggies. And make all from scratch."

Another wrote: "Carton stock? Don't get me wrong, I use it all the time, but a chef would never."

Somebody else posted: "MUST BE A HARD DISH, cutting up 5 items and pouring a carton in GOOD@JOB well done."

However, other fans said Beckham didn't deserve the backlash over his efforts in the kitchen and said it was time for people to let it go.

"Leave him alone … we all cook in our own creative ways…" said one.

"I truly am shocked at how rude people can be towards a simple cooking video," said another.
