Manchester United will be targeting a return to winning ways when they travel to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Monday evening.

United, who were beaten 1-0 by Palace in the reverse fixture at Old Trafford in September, were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley last time out. Zeki Amdouni netted a late penalty for the visitors to wipe out Antony's opener, ensuring the points were shared at Old Trafford.

It means United head into the clash with Palace, who have been on an upward curve in recent weeks, having won just two of their last nine league matches. You have to go back to February 18 for the last time they won on the road in the league.

As a result of their indifferent form in recent weeks, Newcastle United have once again leapfrogged the Reds in the table, meaning they must beat Palace to reclaim sixth spot in the battle for Europa League qualification. The two sides meet at Old Trafford in a little over a week's time.

Ahead of Monday night's tussle in the capital, United manager Erik ten Hag, at Thursday's press conference, reported more injury concerns, confirming captain Bruno Fernandes is a 'doubt' because of a hand injury. Jonny Evans, however, is in contention to return.

Andre Onana is expected to start in goal and maintain his record of starting every Premier League game this season. He will be desperate to record his first clean sheet since the 2-0 win over Everton almost two months ago.

If Evans is passed fit and is deemed strong enough to start, he is likely to be thrown straight into the defensive line and join forces with Harry Maguire in the heart of the defence. Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are primed to start in the two full-back berths.

In the event of Evans starting, Casemiro should move back into midfield. He has started each of the last three matches at centre-back because of the club's injury crisis.

Kobbie Mainoo is also likely to start in the engine room but question marks surround Fernandes' availability. Despite concerns over his hand, the Portuguese has never missed a United fixture through injury, meaning you would not bet against him pulling through and starting at the tip of midfield.

In the event of him missing out, Mason Mount and Scott McTominay, who is set to be the subject of a late check after an injury of his own, could replace the former Sporting Lisbon man. Mount has not started a league game for United since October 7.

As far as the attack is concerned, it is hard to envision Ten Hag making any changes to the front three that started against Burnley. Antony will expect to keep his place after scoring, while Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho are guaranteed starters. Marcus Rashford is expected to miss out once again.

United predicted line-up vs Crystal Palace: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Evans, Dalot; Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes (if fit); Antony, Hojlund, Garnacho.
