Brush Fire Closes Interstate Highway in Los Angeles

A brush fire forced the closure of a major interstate highway in Los Angeles County on July 5.

The fire was reported at around 5 pm local time by transit authorities. Caltrans closed lanes on the I-405 highway until around 7:30 pm. Smoke reduced visibility for drivers on the highway, according to reports.
