Busy southside road near Hampden to close for road works next week

A busy section of road near Hampden Park is set to close next week.

Polmadie Road will be closed from Hamilton Street to Aitkenhead Road overnight between 7pm to 7am beginning on Monday, June 24.

Road users are also being told to expect closures on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The works are expected to be completed by 7am on Friday, June 28. A diversion will be in place via Hamilton Street and Aitkenhead Road.
