Droitwich accounting firm celebrates impressive employee advancement

A Droitwich company is celebrating one of its most high-achieving employees.

Ballards LLP, an accounting firm, is applauding the professionalism and achievements of Adrian Sidaway, an impressive individual who has soared through the company ranks to become an associate director.

Mr Sidaway's professional journey began straight after school, working initially as a trainee audit and accounts associate at Javed and Co. in Birmingham.

He was soon recognised for his talent and determination, which led to a senior position working on accounts and conducting audits for companies with turnovers of around £180 m.

However, it was at Ballards LLP where Mr Sidaway truly blossomed.

After joining the firm and earning his accountancy qualification, he steadily moved up, from qualified audit & accounts senior to assistant manager, audit manager, senior audit manager, and now associate director.

Ben Powell, audit partner at Ballards LLP, said: "Adrian's progression has been truly impressive.

"His dedication, hard work, and exceptional skills have propelled him to new heights within our firm.

"Adrian's contributions have been invaluable, and we are proud to have him as part of our team.

However, Mr Sidaway's influence extends beyond his rapid career growth: his work has changed the way the firm operates.

Outside work, Mr Sidaway is a passionate football fan, holding a season ticket for Aston Villa Football Club, and enjoys weekly five-a-side football to unwind and recharge.

Mr Sidaway's story, however, serves as an inspiration for all professionals, exemplifying the rewards hard work can yield.

Remote access giant TeamViewer says Russian spies hacked its corporate network
TeamViewer, the company that makes widely used remote access tools for companies, has confirmed an ongoing cyberattack on its corporate network. Aircraft delivery delays 'brutal' - Lufthansa CEO
STORY: Aircraft delivery issues are having a "brutal" impact on Lufthansa, and won't be resolved before the end of the decade.That's according to CEO Carsten Spohr, speaking at a business press club in Stuttgart late Thursday (June 27).He said the aircraft shortage could be costing Lufthansa some $535 million a year - although he did not provide an exact figure.The German group has ordered 250 new aircraft from Airbus and Boeing to modernize its fleet.Those deliveries are scheduled between this year and 2029, but Spohr said, "no plane arrives on time." He added around 100 of Lufthansa's 750 aircraft were grounded either for maintenance reasons or because they'd been decommissioned.Earlier this week, Airbus lowered its forecast for deliveries this year to around 770 jets from around 800. The announcement came with growing doubts among suppliers over its jet output as Airbus grapples with parts shortages.At rival Boeing, a series of incidents have raised regulatory scrutiny of the U.S. manufacturer.It's added to delays in deliveries that originated during the pandemic.
