A new café has opened in a Norfolk village in partnership with a cake company that delivers across the UK.

Friends Sarah Pitt and Susie Ayres have launched Breakfast & Brownies at 28 High Street in Heacham, near Hunstanton, and it has indoor and outdoor seating.

Mrs Ayres is also the owner of King's Lynn-based Simply Cake Co., which posts treats nationwide and now supplies the café.

Its range is all gluten-free, with plenty of vegan options, and customers can get hot brownies or cookie dough too.

The food menu also includes breakfast rolls, honey butter toast, sourdough toasties, gluten-free paninis, loaded hash brown bites, pastries and sundaes, with a children's menu available.

This can be enjoyed with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, a range of soft drinks and thick ice cream shakes.
