Caitlyn Jenner didn't trust Kardashians from leaking sex op to press

Speaking about her operation to become a woman, Cailtlyn Jenner has revealed why she kept it a secret from her now estranged family at the time.

Gossip is never far from the Kardashian-Jenner family, but in an interview on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, the host asked Caitlyn about keeping the decision a secret from her immediate family.

Not only did she not tell her family about the surgery but also failed to disclose to them that this would be revealed in her book, The Secrets of My Life, last year.

Stating, ‘They didn’t know you’d actually had the surgery,’ Piers was greeted with a response of how she ‘didn’t tell anybody’ and claimed it’s ‘none of their business.’

Piers pressed her for an explanation, ‘Is it not the business of your very, very recently ex-wife and your kids?

‘Are they not entitled to know before the world?’ he questioned.

‘No, it’s not that big a deal,’ she replied.

When asked about keeping her family in the dark, Cailtlyn defended herself for not being upfront with her children and ex-wife.

‘I’d already been living as Caitlyn for a year and a half,’ she expressed.

Interviewer Morgan didn’t let her off easily, as he persisted with the uncomfortable line of questioning.

Piers then called her ‘willfully deceptive’, before he asked about whether they were entitle to know about the sex change operation and the book revelation of that a secret.

‘I didn’t want them to leak it to the press,’ she answered.

When asked if it was a case of not trusting them, Caitlyn said: ‘Of course not, yeah.

‘Of course I didn’t trust them, yeah,’ which was met with audience laughter.

In the same interview, the former athlete, and 1974 decathlon champion, also spoke about her kids, Kendall and Kyle, and it was unclear whether she’d fallen out with the Kardashian sister.

Caitlyn revelaed she doesn’t speak to either Khloe or Kim.

‘I don’t talk to the Kardashians anymore. The only ones I am concerned about are Kendall and Kylie. They are my biological kids. I spent 23 years carting them around.’
