Yahoo News Caity Lotz wants White Canary to meet Black Siren
It's been a tough ol' ride for the Lance sisters in DC's Arrowverse... no sooner is one returned from the dead than the other bites the bullet.
Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) is now alive and well on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but her sister Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is six feet under on Arrow.
There's a vague silver lining though – Cassidy will return to Arrow as a series regular this season, as Laurel's dark doppelganger Black Siren.
So will Lotz and Cassidy share any bittersweet scenes as the real Sara and the fake Laurel during the next big DC TV crossover?
"Katie Cassidy and I are good friends and I love our chemistry on-screen," Lotz told Digital Spy during a roundtable interview.
"I don't have a sister, so she really feels like my sister and when we have those scenes and get together again, that stuff's just all there – the drama and human element which I love so much.
"Sometimes when you're time-travelling, talking about 'the spear of destiny', you miss some of that. But every time we have a scene together, it's very much about those human things, so I'd love for us to get together again."
The White Canary actress added that it would be "heartbreaking" not to work alongside Cassidy again. We're hoping the Powers That Be are listening and add one more box to what's surely a big ol' crossover checklist...
DC's Legends of Tomorrow will return to The CW on Tuesday, October 10 at 9/8c, with Arrow season 6 following on Thursday, October 12 at 9/8c. Both series air on Sky 1 in the UK.
