The General Election is moving ever closer, and now all the candidates who will be standing to represent you have declared themselves.

This July 4, people across Calderdale, Yorkshire and the rest of the UK will all be turning out to vote for their next MPs. This election will also decide who will form the next national government.

As a result, political parties and candidates are trying to win your votes by campaigning on local, national and international issues.

This also marks the first General Election since the constituency boundaries were changed, meaning you may find yourself in a different seat than before.
