Calvin Harris Is Not Recording A Track With Kanye West

Contrary to recent rumours, it seems Calvin Harris isn’t actually getting ready to record a track with Kanye West.

It was rumoured that the two were set to use their common ground, falling out with Taylor Swift, to create music together.

If you didn’t know, Calvin and Taylor’s ‘amicable’ split turned less friendly when her relationship with Tom Hiddleston was revealed, while the ‘Shake It Off’ singer’s feud with Kanye revolves around all *that* ‘Famous’ drama.

Sources recently told E! News that Calvin and Kanye were keen to collaborate together, claiming that the Scottish DJ ‘wants to make some music with Kanye down the road’, and thinks the rapper is ‘brilliant with music’.

Kanye is said to be just as much of a fan of Calvin too, with a source claiming Kimye ‘always thought’ he was ‘really talented’.

Calvin and Kim also chatted during Jennifer Lopez’s Vegas birthday party, with a source adding: “When Kim walked in, Calvin saw her and stood up. He was clearly excited to see her and said 'hi’ to Kim backstage.”

However, TMZ now reports that the producer has ‘no plans’ to team up with Kanye, because he doesn’t want to play a ‘serious diss’ to Taylor and wants to ‘kill the narrative’ of being connected to his ex.

Sources told the site that the pair have ‘not discussed making any music together’ and rarely speak, though they have ‘mutual respect’ for each other.
