Can You Spot All The Spelling Mistakes In This Homework Task?

A homework assignment littered with spelling errors has gone viral after a horrified mum posted it online.

The woman, named only as Amanda (@Pandamoanimum), tweeted a picture of the task with the message: “My son has spellings from school that they want him to learn. I’m currently holding my head and sighing.”

The homework, which asks pupils to learn six words, contained a number of basic errors.

Not only were two of the six words spelt incorrectly, there were mistakes in the introduction that set out the task.

However, some Twitter users – as is always the case – decided it couldn’t possibly be real, screaming “Photoshop!”.

Of course, it would make more sense to print it out than digitally alter it and Amanda posted another picture showing it glued into her son’s workbook.

While some said that she shouldn’t have “shamed” the teacher – even though they were not named – most were simply shocked at the numbers of errors.

One user wrote: “YOU ARE KIDDING?!! Do you promise that’s real?!!! I’m amazed. I hope you’re going to chat to someone, that’s a joke.”

Amanda later tweeted: “For the last time. Yes it’s real. No it’s not photoshopped. Yes I’m taking it further. And stop assuming the teacher’s a woman. It’s not.”

The mum also posted an updated version of the homework task that she found in her son’s bag with most – but not all – of the errors corrected.
