'Canine-Nine-Nine!': Beagle Puppy Released After Getting Head Stuck in a Wall

A four-month-old beagle puppy who found himself trapped in a wall was rescued by West Midlands Fire Service on Tuesday, May 7, the service said.

Footage released by West Midlands Fire Service shows Jeremy with his head wedged in the gap of a brick wall.

“Canine-nine-nine,” West Midlands Fire Service wrote. “Beagle pup Jeremy got into a spot of bother this morning after wedging his head in a brick wall.”

Firefighters were able to free Jeremy minutes after they arrived by placing a protective cover over his head and ears and wedging him back out the way he came.
