The 23-year-old model and actress has been dating the American singer St. Vincent - whose real name is Annie Clark - since early last year and has revealed their relationship has also taught her how to embrace love in the world.

The blonde beauty told British Vogue: “I’m completely in love. Before, I didn’t know what love was - real love.

"I didn’t understand the depth of it. I always used to think it was you against the world. Now I know the meaning of life is love. Whether that’s for yourself or for the world or your partner.”

Cara, 23, describes her sexuality as “liquid” but is happy for people to label her as gay. She also confessed the older she’s got she’s realised it isn’t a negative word.

She explained: “As a child I used gay as a bad word. As in, ‘that’s so gay’. All my friends did. I’m obviously in love, so if people want to say I’m gay, that’s great. But we’re all liquid - we change, we grow.”

Cara added: “[My parents] have been so, so supportive. I’m obviously in love, so if people want to say I’m gay, that’s great. But we’re all liquid - we change, we grow.”

Meanwhile, the beauty is loving her career move into Hollywood and is currently on the promotional tour for her latest movie with Jared Leto and Margo Robbie.

But added she won’t accept future projects if she discovers she’s been offered less pay than a male co-star.

The star said: “I’m still learning. I act for love. I give it my all. I would probably still do it even if I wasn’t paid at all.

"But I need to be paid the same as the guy who has equal billing with me. Otherwise I won’t do it. Because if you accept less, you’re just letting everyone else down and continuing the cycle.”
