Yahoo News Carol Vorderman reveals she has five boyfriends on rotation
The 62-year-old TV presenter said she has several long-term relationships running at the same time.
Carol Vorderman has revealed she has five boyfriends on rotation, one of which she has been dating for 11 years.
The 62-year-old TV presenter - who previously revealed she has swapped for monogamy for spending time with 'special friends' - has detailed her "system" for running multiple relationships alongside one another.
Vorderman told Michelle Visage's Rule Breakers podcast: "The 'special friends' system, even though it might seem quite shocking to some people now, won't be in 20 years time, it will be absolutely standard.

"This whole assumption, 'Have you got a partner yet? Have you got a man?' Well, no actually I've got five."
The former Countdown star explained: "I'm having the best time.

"I have spoken about this once. I have a system which I've had for 10 years which is called 'special friends'.
"I have to know the person. These are longterm relationships. I'm not into one-night-stands. One's 11 years, one's seven years. Everyone is single. It's a happy place to live... there's no harm being done."
Vorderman said she was pushing back against the 'judgemental' environment she grew up in.
She said: "The language around a woman of my generation is that if you had more than one partner before you got married... everything was derogatory about a woman, that was the environment I was growing up in. It was like 'she's desperate', everything was judgmental."
The Celebrity Gogglebox star said she was throwing the traditional fairy tale "myth" of living 'happily ever after' with one man "out of the window".
She added: "We know that most marriages end in divorce now."
Vorderman has been married twice. Her first marriage to Royal Naval officer Christopher Mather in 1985 lasted less than 12 months. Her second marriage in 1990 to management consultant Patrick King lasted 10 years and the couple share two adult children Katie and Cameron.

She dated TV presenter Des Kelly for five years before the split in 2006.
