A teenager has been charged with supplying a class A drug after a 13-year-old boy was found dead in a park in South Wales last year.

The unnamed 15-year-old was arrested shortly after the death of Carson Price in Ystrad Mynach, near Caerphilly, in April 2019.

He has now been charged with supplying MDMA and will appear at Cwmbran Youth Court on July 28, Gwent Police said.

Carson, 13, was found unconscious at a park around a mile from his home in Hengoed, Caerphilly on 12 April last year.

He was taken to hospital in Cardiff 12 miles away, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

In an emotional tribute, his family described him as "kind and loving" and "a cheeky little boy".
