A cat interrupted a live TV show and curled up on the presenter’s keyboard

A cute kitten who was just looking for somewhere warm to snuggle down wandered onto a newsreader's desk during a live broadcast.

The adorable little stray jumped up onto Kudret Celebioglu’s desk, presenter of the Good Morning Denizli breakfast show in south-western Turkey’s Denizli Province.

Shocked Mr Celebioglu was just reading the day’s headlines to viewers when the kitty hopped up on top of his pile of newspapers.

It then wandered over to the presenter, who handled the situation very professionally by telling viewers he had a "surprise visitor" and carried on broadcasting as though nothing was happening.

The cat then lay down on his laptop keyboard, getting nice and comfy.

Celebloglu went on to remind viewers that, with winter coming, they should remember look out for stray animals by offering them food and shelter.

The stray cat had entered the studio through an open door and managed to get onto the set unseen by any of the TV crew.

After the show, the cat was reportedly named Husnu by the DRT television station and adopted by a member of staff.

Turkey is no stranger to stray cats - they are famously tame and friendly, and many people leave food out for them.

Three even shared the stage with world leaders at the G20 Antalya Summit in 2015 when they broke through tight security measures.
