CCTV appeal to identify this man after cars damaged in Thornton Cleveleys

Police have released CCTV of a man they want to identify after reports of vehicles being damaged in Thornton Cleveleys.

The incidents happened in the Waring Drive area of the town in the early hours of Saturday, May 11. More than six weeks on from the offences, police have today (June 24) released CCTV footage of a man walking in the area that they want to identify.

They are asking for anyone who identifies the male to contact police. No further details have been released the about the number of vehicles damaged.

A Thornton Cleveleys and Poulton Police spokesperson said: "We’re making enquiries into a report of vehicles being damaged in the Thornton Cleveleys area and have some footage we want to show you. We would like to speak to the person in the footage in connection with our investigation.

"We received reports of vehicles being damaged in the Waring Drive area of Thornton Cleveleys on May 11. It is reported to have happened around 12:20am on May 11.

"We know that this footage isn’t of the highest quality, but if you recognise them, please contact us on 101 quoting log 0552 of May 11."
