Yahoo News Celebrity Big Brother 2015: Austin Armacost Shaves His Head After Gail Porter Reveals She Feels ‘Ugly’
Celebrity Big Brother isn’t all about arguing over who took all the water, who drank all the alcohol and who ate the last bananas, y’know.
The celebs do actually give us SOME rays of sunshine during their time in the Borehamwood ‘jail’, like the moment Austin Armacost shaved his head for Gail Porter, who confessed that she sometimes feels ‘ugly’ in the house.

You look ruddy gorgeous to us, Gail, and you’re a total inspiration too. BE PROUD.
The 44-year-old discussed how she was feeling with her housemates, admitting: “I feel extremely ugly. I’ve dealt with having no hair for a long time, but sometimes you don’t feel as pretty as everyone else.”
If you didn’t know, Gail lost her hair after developing alopecia in 2005.
Austin was quick to tell Gail that she’s bloomin’ amazing just the way she is and that he’d love to shave his head to show her that hair doesn’t actually change how awesome someone is.

He told her: “There are women in here that are gorgeous but within 20 seconds of knowing these girls, they’re f**king b*tches. You have proved time and time again that you’re an amazing human being and an amazing woman, and that is really what matters.
“You’re one of the most strong, independent women that I’ve ever met. You are an amazing human being.”
He then quickly decided to shave his head for her, stating: “Gail, I’ll shave my head right now for you, because this is amazing. Your story and your strength. I would be honoured for you to shave my head, I really would. You are the most amazing person with or without hair.”
In a touching and heart-warming move of solidarity, Austin then handed Gail the razor and insisted she shaved his head (despite her initially not wanting to), saying: “I don’t give a s**t, the things that you said to me are amazing.

“I love you and you are an most awesome human being for this. This is how important hair is Gail. Who gives a s**t. This is something that’s not so important. Who gives a s**t, because you’re the same person you are without hair. I’m the same person I was when I had hair. That’s what really matters.”
The process was emotional, with Gail getting teary as Austin’s hair disappeared.
Later, the American sobbed in the Diary Room as he thought about his husband’s reaction to his shaved bonce, explaining: “Gail is such an amazingly strong woman. If I can do this for two weeks, three weeks, three days, however long I’m here. I don’t give a s**t. But if this is something that makes her happy then…”

The Apprentice star James Hill was touched by Austin’s gesture too, telling the Diary Room: “Never ever judge a book by its cover. Austin is ten times the man I’ll ever be.
“He’s just shaved his hair off to show his respect to Gail. To prove it doesn’t mean anything. That’s amazing. Just to see him do that - he’s some man.”
