Celebrity Big Brother 2015: Evictee Gail Porter Admits Being In The House Was ‘Worse Than Being Sectioned’

There’s no doubt that this summer’s Celebrity Big Brother has been one of the most emotionally draining series yet - and we’re only watching it from the depths of our sofa duvet fort.

For the housemates themselves though, it’s even worse, as Gail Porter revealed when she became the fourth CBB evictee.

Following Fatman Scoop, who had been the third housemate to leave the house earlier in the night, Gail looked pretty darn excited to be getting back to reality.

Judging by all the tension, arguments and general craziness we’ve watched so far, we don’t exactly blame her.

Speaking to host Emma Willis in her post-eviction interview, the 44-year-old admitted that as much as she’s thankful for the experience, she couldn’t be happier to be out of the Borehamwood celebrity-filled staycation.

Well, it looked like more of a punishment than a holiday, but still.

Revealing how excited she was to be out, Gail said: “I’ve never been happier! I’m really sorry and thank you Emma, it’s been an amazing experience but they are mad.

“Not all of them, there’s a handful that are just clinically crazy. Believe you me, I’ve been in situations that I’ve not wanted to be in before and that was just like ‘let me out!’”

Asked if it was the worst situation she’s ever been in, Gail replied: “Yes, and I’ve been sectioned!”

Giving us an insight into how tough it was in there, she explained: “You’re sharing a bedroom with a bunch of people - there’s a lot of egos in one room, and there’s lots of people shouting and then there’s the snoring and people not obeying any rules.

“Of course I missed my daughter and my friends and family. After two days it felt like two years, and I thought ‘this is going to be one massively long journey.”

“I don’t think I could’ve done it [any longer] - there would’ve been a murder.”

We’ll miss you in there, Gail.

Sadly, we lost two housemates last night in a cruel double eviction, with house peacekeeper Scoop also waving goodbye to those four walls.

Revealing why he believes he was nominated, the 46-year-old told Emma: “I was put up for eviction as I refused to slag off my friends. Where I’m from a man doesn’t slag off his friends.”

What a good man.

Expanding on his role as the peacekeeper, he added: “I was there to stop the rows. That’s not exciting television but Scoop has to be Scoop and Scoop has to look in the mirror - and there are a lot of mirrors in there.

“I, by nature, am a communicator. I listen to everyone and I respect everyone and I get to know everybody’s story. I learn to cater my communication to people. I feel like I was the glue in that house. It’s gonna get nasty in a minute and nasty is good television.

“I look back on this and I’m happy with myself. I didn’t act a fool. As long as I can look my daughter in her face and my son and my family, I’m good.”

Something tells us the house is about to get EVEN crazier. If that’s actually possible.
