Celebrity Big Brother: Austin Armacost is fuming following controversial eviction

Whether you love him or hate him, you can’t deny that Austin Armacost’s shock eviction on Friday night was as brutal as they come.

Eliminated after his housemates branded him the “dullest housemate”, Austin was barely acknowledged by the other contestants as he made his way out of the house, with the remaining stars assuming that he was simply going to a secret room.

To make matters worse, Austin looked seriously deflated as host Emma Willis admitted that he didn’t even get the traditional ‘Best Bits’ video montage for his eviction, and the star has now taken to Twitter to share his anger at Friday night’s events.

Writing to his followers, Austin understandably seethed: “Feel completely robbed of my spot in the #CBB house.

“Wasn’t voted out by fans or housemates #Deflated #WasJustGettingGoing.”

To rub salt into the wound, Austin had just survived a fan-voted eviction, with Angie Best leaving the house less than an hour earlier.

Reinforcing his outrage, Austin later tweeted a montage of his own face with ‘DULL’ written across his forehead before retweeting a news article about fans’ anger at his eviction.

Speaking to Emma in his exit interview, Austin previously said: “Everyone knows that’s complete bulls**t, I’m not the dullest in that house.

“I can only be myself, the British public fell in love with me the first time round and I just thought I can only go back in and be myself.

“Last time I was in a relationship that wasn’t healthy it was very long and it ended not too long ago.

“I’m in a new relationship and he’s the most loveliest man I’ve ever met and going from spending so much time with someone to nothing… It was really difficult.

Austin was stunned to lose his place in the house.

“If I was single I would probably be in there with lads but I just really miss him and it just wasn’t fun for me this time around.”

As well as Austin’s sensational exit, Friday’s live show saw three new celebrities enter the famous abode – Jessica Cunningham, Chloe Ferry and Kim Woodburn.
