Celebrity MasterChef signs up EastEnders legend as full cast is unveiled

The line-up for this year's Celebrity MasterChef has been revealed, with an EastEnders legend getting in the kitchen.

Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale, will compete alongside Vicky Pattison, Love Island's Dr Alex George, Oti Mabuse, Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, Joey Essex, DJ Judge Jules, The Chase's Jenny Ryan and comedian Josie Long.

Also in the line-up are Olympic gold medallist Greg Rutherford, Elizabeth Bourgine, Mim Shaikh, Dom Parker, Martha Reeves, Dillian Whyte, Kellie Maloney, Dame Zandra Rhodes, Andy Grant, Tomasz Schafernaker and Rickie Haywood-Williams.

As always, judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be presiding over the kitchen as they whittle down the 20 celebrity contestants across six weeks.

BBC commissioning editor Carla-Maria Lawson said: "This Celebrity MasterChef has all of the right ingredients for a series full of entertainment, pressure and fun.

"Once again we have a brilliant variety of different characters and there will be some surprises along the way as they are put through their paces and pushed to their limits."

Last year, the series was won by former EastEnders actor John Partridge. Previous winners include Kimberly Wyatt, Sophie Thompson, Ade Edmondson, Jayne Middlemiss, Nadia Sawalha and Matt Dawson.

In the third episode of this year's series, the contestants will be cooking for former winners including the reigning champ, as well as Spencer Matthews, Martin Bayfield, Rylan Clark-Neal and the Rev. Richard Coles.
