Earlier this year, Race Across The World became one of the most popular television shows of 2024, and with the BBC now teasing a new celebrity spin-off series, speculation is naturally ramping up around who may take part.

Though the cast details are still to be revealed, Gambling.com have pulled together the latest bookies odds. Actor Danny Dyer and his daughter, Love Island alum Dani, are clear favourites with odds of 8/11 after previously pairing up for Channel 4’s Danny and Dani Do Italy.

Just behind them are Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon with a 50 per cent probability of taking part.

Unsurprisingly, The Traitors’ dastardly duo Paul Gorton and Harry Clarke are also favourites, with odds of 11/8.

Elsewhere, Kelly Brook and Jeremy Parisi (6/4), Max George and Maisie Smith (3/1), Scott Mills and his husband Sam Vaughan (2/1), Zoe Ball and her son Woody Cook (4/1) and Jeff Brazier and his son Freddie (7/2) are all frontrunners.

Kola and Yinka Bokinni (9/2), Dianne Buswell and Joe Sugg (5/1), Dion Dublin and Martin Roberts (6/1) Katya Jones and Aimee Fuller (8/1) Rita Simons and Samantha Womack (10/1) round out the rest of the bookies choices

In the much-loved TV competition, which aired for the first time in 2019, pairs of contestants race to reach a destination thousands of miles away; in series one, for instance, the race started in London and ended in Singapore.

The major catch? No air travel is allowed, and plucky participants also have limited funds (the price of a one-way plane ticket) to make the trek. Along the way, they’re able to work to earn more money, and must visit various checkpoints in different countries along the route.

Personally, we’re quite up for the idea of watching Danny and Dani plot, scheme and blag their way to a mystery destination – according to the BBC, a new celebrity series is “coming soon” so we won’t have to wait too long to find out more.
