Yahoo UK's big Celebrity Quiz of the Year 2020

The world of television and celebrity found itself in disarray in 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic put paid to filming schedules and planned events.

Luckily, prerecorded shows meant we were kept occupied with new releases throughout lockdown in the the form of some of the most popular series of the year, like Normal People or Tiger King.

Despite an inevitable increase in television repeats, yearly staples such as The Great British Bake Off, I’m A Celeb and Strictly Come Dancing thankfully returned with new series after a whole lot of planning to ensure everyone involved could be kept as safe as possible.

We were also treated to many social media posts from bored celebrities. But some really put time and effort into entertaining other people when they couldn’t get out, notably Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her dazzling Kitchen Discos.
