Celebs Go Dating reveals replacements for Katie Price and Kris Boyson

Celebs Go Dating has revealed who will be replacing Katie Price and her boyfriend Kris Boyson.

Price and Boyson were set to appear on the E4 dating show later this year, but it was recently confirmed that the couple has arrangements with another TV programme.

And the reality show has just announced that former footballer Jermaine Pennant and his wife Alice Goodwin will be the newest additions to this year's series, taking Price and Boyson's places.

In the announcement video, Jermaine and Alice have spoken about the reason behind their decision to join the dating show, admitting that there are things they would like to work out in their relationship.

"We've joined the agency because we want to iron out some issues in our marriage," explained Jermaine.

"So we're bringing to the agency our issues of trust."

"Communication," continued Alice. "We need to know how to communicate a little bit better I think."

Jermaine appeared on last year's Celebrity Big Brother where viewers have slammed the former footballer for trading secret love notes and kisses with Chloe Ayling, despite being married to Alice.

He previously spoke to Digital Spy and revealed that he'd already worked things out with his wife, even though she was "upset".

"I've apologised [to my wife] for how it may look on the outside," he told us. "If she's been embarrassed and upset... I apologised and she accepted it. What we do now is we move on and continue our lives."

"I like to keep my private life private," Jermaine added. "All I can do is apologise to my family and my wife, which I have done."
