A week after it was announced Celine Dion will headline London’s British Summer Time Festival, she has given a revealing interview about her love life and new look.

Speaking to The Sun’s Dan Wootton, Dion hit back at critics of her slenderer frame and unique fashion sense.

“If I like it, I don’t want to talk about it. Don’t bother. Don’t take a picture. If you like it, I’ll be there. If you don’t, leave me alone,” she told Wootton.

Dion went on to say her late husband, Rene Angelil, as the ‘greatest man who ever lived.’ Angelil discovered French Canadian Dion when she was just 12-years-old, and they began a romantic relationship when she was 18.

After more than three decades together, Angelil lost his battle to cancer in 2016.

“Knowing that now he’s in peace and is resting and is always within me. I see him every day through the eyes of my children. He gave me so much strength,” Dion said of her late husband.

Since 2017, Dion has been spotted regularly with 34-year-old Pepe Munoz, with rumours circulating that he is her new boyfriend.

But Dion denies this is the case and claims they are simply good friends.

“Yeah, there’s another man in my life, but not THE man in my life. We bonded right away as friends, it evolved… but let’s not mix everything.

“We’re best friends. Of course we hug and hold hands and go out, so people see that. I mean, he’s giving me his hand to go out,” she said.

She added that she feels better than ever at 50, and that she’s experiencing ‘a second wind’ in life.

“To be honest with you, I think I’m at the best of my life right now and I really want to enjoy and embrace every moment of it. It’s all new. It’s like I’m having a second wind — 50 has been great for me,” she said.
