  • These armoured cars produced by Texas Armouring Corporation can stop an AK-47 bullet.

  • The front glass is almost 2 inches thick.

  • The cars can cost you over £360,000 with all features included.

Texas Armoring Corporation produces a range of armoured passenger vehicles, they can even upgrade your current car.

To fit the armouring they take each car apart piece by piece, then cover each area in military grade armour. The fuel tank is coated in ballistic nylon and many other parts are wrapped in steel. Special run-flat tyres are fitted and the vehicle is reassembled.

They offer different levels of protection, the cheapest costing around £46,000, which would stop a handgun bullet.

The top level could cost you over £360,000, and would include a siren, strobe lights, electroshock door handles and even a smoke screen.
