Champions League top scorers: Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino chasing Real Madrid leader Cristiano Ronaldo
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo is almost certain to end the 2017-18 season as the Champions League's top goalscorer, but Liverpool's star trio Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are all giving chase.
Ronaldo added another two goals to his tally as Real beat Juventus 3-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final tie in Turin, becoming the first player to score in 10 consecutive Champions League matches - not to mention an extraordinary bicycle kick for his second strike.
But while Ronaldo is out in front with 14 goals, Liverpool's fearsome front three are sharing out the goals as Salah and Firmino both moved into eight goals apiece as they struck in a 2-1 win at Manchester City to send the Reds through to the semi-finals.
And in a stunning 5-2 semi-final first leg win against AS Roma at Anfield, Salah and Firmino both moved onto double figures with braces in either half, while Mane also moved onto eight for the competition this term.
The trio have now scored 28 Champions League goals between them this season, and make up three of the top five scorers this term.
