Host of Channel 4’s Naked Attraction Anna Richardson has teased that a live theatre version of the show could be on its way. The series, which has been running since 2016, sees contestants pick partners who have stripped down to their birthday suits before they go on a date.

Speaking of the plans for the show Anna said: “We’re in talks to do Naked Attraction Live as a live theatre show. It would be amazing. If we can make it happen then we will, but I think it’s a fabulous idea.”

The Sun reports how the presenter and writer, 53, confessed that she was aiming to be involved as the show’s host in some form after expressing that she has her “fingers crossed” to make it a reality.

During an episode of Naked Attraction earlier this year viewers were left gobsmacked by a contestant's direct approach. The contestant, whose name was Iain, bore a resemblance to Hollywood actor Simon Pegg and he was trying to attract a woman called Jane.

At the time Anna was taken aback by Iain, noting he was a "flirt". When finally given his chance to speak Iain proclaimed to Jane: "I want every bit of you! ". Iain's smooth talking saw him reach the final round where he was up against Robert, who started in the green pod. Only this time Jane picked Robert to date instead of Iain.

Naked Attraction is available to watch on Channel 4. You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
