Charlotte Crosby breaks down in tears over Gaz Beadle's baby announcement

Last night, Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle took to social media to announce that he is expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Emma McVey.

Now Gaz’s ex, Charlotte Crosby, has shared her heartbreaking reaction to the news, which comes just 16 months after she suffered an ectopic pregnancy that nearly took her life.

Speaking live on Ireland AM this morning, Charlotte’s voice cracked as she hinted that Gaz had told her the news in advance.

She shared: “Honestly I get so overwhelmed by all the support, it’s just so amazing. I’ve gotten so many nice messages over the past couple of days.”

As she broke down, Charlotte admitted that she is extra sensitive at the moment as her relationship with Celebrity Big Brother winner Stephen Bear is currently under strain, with the star drunkenly telling her fans last week that they’d split in a Snapchat and Twitter rant before confirming that they were still together hours later.

She added: “Not only that [Gary’s news] but me and Stephen have had some hard times lately as well.”

News of Emma’s pregnancy is understandably difficult for Charlotte as she recently revealed that she only discovered that she was pregnant with Gaz’s child in April 2016 after she was hospitalised.

Suffering an ectopic pregnancy, Charlotte needed a life-saving operation to remove her damaged fallopian tube, with the star saying that the incident has “compromised” her fertility.

Sharing the news with his fans yesterday, Gaz excitedly gushed about impending fatherhood, saying that he is “ready” to become a dad and that he “couldn’t be more excited” about the next chapter in his and Emma’s lives.

He told his followers: “I love kids.

“I always have and I feel like this is the right time. I thought I’d be scared but I’m not.”

Gaz and Emma have been together for one year, with the pair announcing their exciting news with a sweet photo of Gaz holding a pair of tiny baby booties in front of Emma’s stomach.
