Charlotte Tilbury Launches Dazzling Holiday Campaign with Friends Elton John, Kate Moss and More! (Exclusive)

The celeb-loved beauty guru tells PEOPLE about partnering with her A-list friends on her brand's new holiday campaign and about launching the brand's Magic Gifting Universe to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation

If you are one of the six million people following beauty guru Charlotte Tilbury on Instagram, then to you, every day might look like a special occasion. But, during the holidays — her favorite time of year — Tilbury goes above and beyond in the very best way.

This season, Tilbury is launching an “out-of-this-world” campaign starring Elton John, and models Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn, plus Rina Sawayama, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, as well as her nieces Sofia Schwarzkopf-Tilbury and Bella Broekman-Tilbury to celebrate the festivities.

"It was an unforgettable, euphoric and fun day." Tilbury tells PEOPLE exclusively of filming alongside her “talented, gorgeous beauty muses.”

“Elton's always been a huge inspiration to me my entire life,” Tilbury gushes about the “Rocket Man” musician, 76. “He's a musical genius, a true creative, a renaissance man and a national treasure. He's loved by all generations.”

She reveals that her vision for the collaboration became “crystal clear” while she was at one of John's concerts with Moss, particularly as she watched him wow the crowd with his performance of “Tiny Dancer."

And although she’s worked with the Grammy winner on multiple occasions, and is a longtime friend of his, she still says being on set together was a pinch-me moment.

Like John’s famous tunes (his holiday hit “Stepping Into Christmas” — a personal favorite of Tilbury’s — is marking its 50th anniversary this year) Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is all about creating magical moments and empowering others.

“Music is just like makeup. It has the power to change your frequency, to morph your mood and bring joy into people's lives," she says, adding that, for her, putting on lipstick or creating a powerful eye look makes her feel beautiful and confident. "I always say, give everyone the right makeup and skincare, and they can conquer the world. I want everyone else to feel that way."

Tilbury also admires John’s benevolence as much as his renowned talent. “Not only is he someone that has inspired me for many years with his outfits and his music, but he's the kindest person and he gives back so much,” she says.

Charlotte Tilbury's brand is the official founding beauty partner of The Rocket Fund from the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The makeup artist's personal contribution to the Rocket Fund will support the Elton John AIDS foundation in helping over 40,000 young people most at risk of HIV and AIDS access life saving services and support.

“It's my mission to make sure that everything I do really is rooted in purpose,” Tilbury tells PEOPLE of supporting the cause. “I truly believe that it's a virtuous circle of life. Doing something wonderful that changes the world is the reason I created this brand.”

Of the meaningful partnership, John tells PEOPLE exclusively: “Charlotte and I share the belief that everyone should feel safe and inspired to be their authentic selves. The new campaign, with its megawatt cast, also showcases the brand's Magic Gifting Universe (a.k.a a one-stop virtual shop for Tilbury's entire — and epic — Holiday 2023 gifting options).

“We've gone to our magical and sensational labs to create my trinkets, treats and treasures,” Tilbury tells PEOPLE, referring to her brand’s skincare and makeup innovations, which range from mini versions of fan-favorite products to new launches.

Tilbury exclaims that she’s “obsessed” with The Beautyverse Palette, which offers nine buttery self-gripping matte and glitter eyeshadow shades, including the futuristic Cyber Silver which she pens as the next “It” hue (we’ll take her word for it).

Other highlights include the new Rock Lips contouring lipstick, available in two matte shades formulated with Vitamin E (“I would say lipstick is happiness in a tube,” Tilbury says.) and the coordinating velvet pouch, which pay homage to John and The Rocket Fund.

And, just in time for Charlotte Tilbury Beauty’s 10-year anniversary (a milestone reached this year) the brand is offering its Charlotte’s Lucky Chest of Beauty Secrets advent calendar filled with drawers of miniature cult-classics like the Magic Cream and Magic serum (which also come in their own travel-size duo).

To top it all off, the brand is giving shoppers a chance to win makeup and memorabilia signed by herself, John and Moss because, she explains, “money can't buy moments.”

Tilbury loves to spread the holiday joy back home, where her products are a welcomed treat.

“We always have Charlotte Tilbury stockings beneath the tree,” she shares, adding that one of her sons has even tried to nab some goodies from his uncle. “They were arguing over the Charlotte Tilbury products. He was like, ‘He's stolen my thing out of my bag', so that was hilarious but actually became a bit of an issue.”

Her holiday season — a well-deserved moment of rest — is spent with loved ones, surrounded by delicious food and, of course, glam. “We have a very traditional kind of family Christmas. We have all the trimmings and we have a gorgeous dinner. We wake up late and open up all the presents in our pajamas. Then we all dress up and have a fabulous dinner."
