The Chase viewers think one contestant turned up on the "wrong show"
The Chase viewers – and The Beast – reckoned that one contestant may have signed up for the wrong show in its latest episode.
Wednesday's (April 17) outing of the popular ITV game show saw contestant Norman take on Chaser Mark Labbett in order to get some money for his invention.
Revealing to Bradley Walsh his bicycle idea and how he hoped to fund a prototype with the money won on the show, he was certainly building up expectations.
However, The Beast then turned up and declared: "Unfortunately for you, this show is not Dragon's Den, because I intend to take 100% of your money and it will be you who's out!"
Just remember, Norman. You can't invent an alternative way to beat @MarkLabbett. You HAVE to out-quiz him. #TheChase

And, well, he was right, as Norman went for the higher offer before being knocked out within a few minutes.
"If you’d taken the normal offer you’d still have been in a world of trouble," The Beast then told him.
It seems viewers at home were in agreement about Norman being on the wrong show:
Awww poor Norman has not only turned up to the wrong studio, itv studios rather than the BBC, but also the wrong show, #TheChase rather than #dragonsden. The potential to make the most money has been lost by this error..

Earlier this week, Bradley ranted at Chaser Anne Hegerty after she failed to answer a question about the origin of the word 'sausage'.
"What is the point of you being a Chaser if you don't know this stuff?" he asked. "This is the stuff you're supposed to know, never mind how many billions of stars or whether the world's circumference is the same as your neck."
The Chase airs on ITV.
