The Chase viewers were left in hysterics over one particular question on the show's latest episode.

In proof that deep down we're all just giggling school kids, host Bradley Walsh's mention of the "knob-headed gecko" sent viewers into fits of laughter.

"The knob-headed giant gecko is native to what continent?" he asked contestant Liz on last night's (February 19) episode, though pretty amazingly managed to keep his composure.

After the contestant selected the correct answer of Australia, Bradley asked: "You ever seen one?", Liz revealing she hadn't.

However, once the answer was read out, Bradley and Liz both broke out into a fit of laughter, and viewers at home couldn't contain themselves over the double entendre, either.

"How was Bradley Walsh not crying with laughter at the Knob-headed geckos question on #ITV #TheChase[?]" one viewer asked.

Another joked: "Knob Head giant Gecko,,, You’d see that one coming."

Meanwhile, Bradders revealed his celebrity doppelganger earlier this week, joking in a Twitter video with Brian Conley that he was mistaken for the comedian at the premiere of the latter's new show 9 to 5.

"Everyone's been coming up to me and going 'Congratulations Brian, what a show,'" Bradley joked in the clip. "They're having photos with me, saying 'Loved you in the bondage kit'."

The Chase airs on ITV.
