Chelsea star Eden Hazard is unlikely to be ready to report for international duty with Belgium next month.

Hazard has not played since fracturing his right ankle while during a training session with the Belgium team in May.

He was pictured joining in first team training at Chelsea for the first time this week, although it is understood the 26-year-old only joined in at the very end of the session.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has spoken of his hope that the attacking midfielder will be available for selection in their forthcoming games.

He said: "Eden Hazard is almost back. I would love to have him in my Belgium squad for Gibraltar & Greece."

But it is believed Chelsea won't feel Hazard can play for Belgium until he has played for them and it is unlikely that he will face Tottenham or Everton before the international break.

While Hazard has recovered from his ankle problem, he still has to go through a full pre-season and work on his match fitness.
