Cheryl denies that her mum will be moving in with her and Liam Payne

Yesterday it was reported that all was not well between Cheryl and her One Direction boyfriend, Liam Payne, with the former X Factor judge reportedly insisting that her mum, Joan, moved in with them.

It was claimed that Cheryl hoped to have Joan’s valuable help once her and Liam’s baby arrives, and it was causing a rift between the lovebirds.

However, a rep for Cheryl has now denied the story, insisting: “The story on Joan moving in with Liam and Cheryl is fabricated.

“There is no truth to it.”

A source had previously told the Daily Star: “Cheryl and her mum are inseparable. She’s even asked Joan to be at her side during the birth and to live with them after the baby is born.

“Cheryl and Liam are head over heels in love but it’s fair to say the topic of Joan has caused more than a few heated discussions.”

Cheryl’s team wasted no time denying the story, leaving us safe to assume that Joan will remain in her Newcastle home following the arrival of baby Payne.

The news comes following reports that Liam plans to propose to Cheryl as soon as she has given birth, taken inspiration from Cheryl’s best mate, Kimberley Walsh, who got engaged to her partner, Justin, following the birth of their son, Bobby.

An insider explained: “Liam got the idea to propose straight after the birth after finding out that Justin popped the question after the delivery of their first child.

“It’s given Liam so many ideas. There will definitely be wedding bells sooner than we expected.”

However, with Liam also set to launch his solo singing career in 2017, the New Year is already shaping up to be a busy one for the 23-year-old star.
