Fans were left surprised last week when Cheryl debuted a brand new look. With her chopped locks and fluorescent raincoat – she looked very different indeed as she promoted her first new single in four years ‘Love Made Me Do It.’
Some fans even speculated that she has had ‘some work’ done but 35-year-old Cheryl told Sunday Times Style magazine that her evolving look is simply the result of motherhood.
“My whole body, even my face, everything’s changed since Bear was born,” Cheryl said.
She added that she doesn’t care as much about her looks now, especially as she’s ‘created a life’ with her her body.
“But I feel like I’m better than who I was. I don’t care what my body looks like in that respect. I created a life!
“I’m amazed by myself. And I’m kinder to myself because of it. I focus less on my insecurities, because they’re so much less relevant,” she said.
In 2017 Cheryl became a first-time mother to baby Bear with her now ex Liam Payne.
Fans were left concerned after last week’s press debut and new music video that the star had ‘too much botox’ and ‘surgery.’

Sorry but that new #Cheryl song is bad, she’s also had a lot of surgery on her face. Odd to think that 10 years she was the nations sweetheart!

But several of her loyal fans jumped in to defend her looks, with several saying she is still ‘so gorgeous’ and her appearance is ultimately her choice.
Ok guys, let’s all calm down about #Cheryl’s face. Hopefully it’s dissolvable fillers and it will dissipate! She’s so gorgeous, did not need a thing done. It’s like splashing paint on Monet’s lillies.. no no. Love the new song #cheryl

I’m at a loss as to why Cheryl has chosen to amend her features, but it’s her face and her choice. #cheryl

In the same interview Cheryl explained that she’s now a completely new person thanks to having her son, and that she no longer struggles with shyness.
“I feel like I’ve had two lives. Me before Bear and me with Bear. I’ve always had shyness and that’s gone. I was always floating around just not sure of anything, and now I’m certain. I feel like a woman now,” she said.
