Has Cheryl and Liam Payne's baby name been revealed? Official listing leaks son's name

Back in March, Liam Payne and his girlfriend Cheryl proudly took to their social media pages to announce the birth of their baby son, admitting that they were yet to come up with a name for their tiny bundle of joy.

Over a month has passed and we have still had no update on the little one’s moniker, but an official listing appears to have leaked their chosen name.

A listing on FamousBirthdays.com claims that Cheryl and Liam’s son is called Taylor Payne; a name that any One Direction fan would know has been a firm favourite of Liam’s for years.

In fact, back in 2012 Liam revealed that he wants to call his first-born child Taylor as he loves “androgynous-sounding” names, explaining: “I like the name Taylor.

“Taylor’s pretty neutral for a boy or a girl. That’s what I’m going to call my first child if I had children.”

Although this was before that whole Harry Styles/ Taylor Swift thing, so we wouldn’t have been surprised if Liam had changed his mind after that.

Of course there is every possibility that a 1D fan listed Liam and Cheryl’s baby as ‘Taylor’ on the FamousBirthdays site off the back of this interview, or perhaps someone out there knows something that we don’t.

Either way, neither Liam or Cheryl have commented on the speculation.

The name revelation comes after it was reported that Liam has left his girlfriend and newborn at home in London and jetted off to Los Angeles to work on his solo album, a move that Cheryl insists she fully supports.

The former X Factor judge’s rep said in a statement: “Cheryl has always been supportive of Liam’s career and understands he has to be away for work.

“It’s not a problem Liam being in LA – they are constantly in touch. She wants his solo career to be a huge success.”

And with word on the street being that Liam’s debut solo music is set to be released later this month, we have a feeling that he is currently working harder than ever.
