Chloe Madeley has opened up about the current state of affairs following her break up from former partner James Haskell last year.

The fitness guru and TV personality officially announced the dissolution of her marriage in October. Chloe and James squashed rumours regarding their relationship status by releasing a joint statement on social media.

After five years of marriage, they revealed they had "mutually decided" to part ways back in September. The pair maintains that their priority is their young daughter. Chloe and James have been spotted on numerous occasions with Bodhi, one of which during an outing to London Zoo last month.

Fast-forward several months since their separation, Chloe, 36, recounted summing up her feelings towards it in a fresh interview.

"I'm never going to go into great detail about why we broke up because it's not fair on anyone and I wouldn't want him to either, but what I will say is it was f*****g awful!," she explained when speaking to OK! Magazine.

She elaborated: "Part of the reason we wanted to end it was because we wanted it to stop being awful, so why would we then take that into a break-up and it continue being awful? ! There's a point where you have to say, 'Let's create a new life that looks nothing like the old life' so we can co-parent our daughter and not be miserable. It was hard at the beginning. You have to work at it like everything in life and we've really done that."

Chloe and James still share a roof, but Chloe disclosed to fans that they've finally settled on a date for James to move out. She shared their mutual excitement about embarking on this next phase and revealed that they have already meticulously mapped out the transition.

"There'll be a bedding-in period and I'll stay there for a few days too," she told the publication. "I want to make sure Bodhi has everything she needs so it feels like home. I'll slowly, slowly back out and leave her there for a couple of days and then she'll come back here."

Meanwhile, Chloe is celebrating other exciting developments in her life. Recently, she shared a humorous announcement with a friend about their latest project, exclaiming; "We're having a baby!" This cryptic message was clarified when she later announced on Instagram the upcoming launch of her own app in partnership with Emma Storey Gordon.

Chloe and Emma aren't strangers to collaboration, as the pair already run The EC Method, a podcast where they "answer client questions and explore common barriers and hurdles to reaching goals."

The fitness duo is set to launch a new app for their followers. "We're having a baby! The brand new EC Method app coming soon," Chloe announced on Instagram last week, posting a selfie with her partner.

She expressed gratitude towards My PT Hub, a platform designed to assist personal trainers and fitness professionals, though further details about the app remain under wraps.
