Chris Pratt Hangs Out with His Chickens’ on Washington State Ranch: ‘Just Me and the Girls’

The 'Garfield' star showed fans his hens in a cute clip shared to Instagram on Tuesday, June 18

Chris Pratt is happy around hens!

On Tuesday, June 18, the Guardians of the Galaxy star, 44, showed his Instagram followers around the pen he has for the animals at his Washington State farm.

"Down here at Stillwater Ranch, we collect our own chicken eggs," he said while speaking to the camera, which showed a box of fresh eggs.

Pratt told his hens to "plug your ears, girls," before claiming he'd seen a recent study suggesting that people who have chickens might increase their risk of contracting Avian bird flu.

"That might be true, who knows? Probably not," said Pratt before addressing the upside of having feathered friends in your life.

"You also increase your risk of having fun with chickens," Pratt told the camera.

"So, I think it's worth it," he added before doing a chicken impression.

"Just me and the girls. 🐓 #stillwaterranch," Pratt captioned the post.

Pratt regularly posts about the animals living at his Stillwater Ranch, which he shares with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger and daughters Eloise Christina, 2, and Lyla Maria, 3. The Garfield star is also dad to son Jack, 11, whom he shares with his ex-wife Anna Faris, 47.

In May, the Jurassic World star revealed one of their cows, Marge, had given birth to twins.

"Our gorgeous Marge surprised us with not one but two babies!!! Twins happen about one in a hundred times. Very special!" Pratt captioned a sweet photo of the cow and her babies.

As well as posts about farm life, Pratt and his wife, 34, also share regular family updates — with Katherine sharing multiple photos while wishing Pratt and her dad Arnold Schwarzenegger, 76, a Happy Father's Day on Sunday, June 16.

"Happy Father’s Day to these two guys! Best dads and Opa to our kids! We love you!" the proud wife and daughter captioned her Instagram carousel.
