Christine McGuinness flooded with supportive messages after family news which 'isn't easy'

Christine McGuinness has admitted "it didn't come easy" as she shared a message with her fanbase. The ITV The Games star and BBC Pilgrimage star spoke out as she crowned half-term and a family break with a heartfelt and poignant message to followers.

Christine typed: "Half term happiness. If you have followed our family journey you will know holidays didn’t come easy for us, I still can’t believe this is something we do now (with lots of prep, visuals, patience and a few meltdowns!)

"We have just had our biggest family holiday ever, with other friends, extended family and other children. I was so worried about this trip, we usually keep it very small and quiet. I thought my children might get overwhelmed with everyone but honestly they were amazing.

"And all the extra eyes, hands and ears for mummy was amazing! Happy and proud, my little superstars exceeding expectations once again." Christine wrote as she signed off in a message to fans: "With love and support, always believe anything is possible."

"This fills me with hope - my 4 year old is non-verbal / autistic / arfid. We havent managed to get abroad yet and holidays in general are more stressful than not, so we worry if we ever will get to holiday abroad again. But this shows its all possible with time, prep and dedication. Thankyou for sharing," replied a fan.

"They are Amazing Because of you," another said. "you are The Best Mummy They could go anywhere in the world with the comfort and safety of mummy . So Happy for you." A third said: "This gives me so much hope for the future for my 3 year old twins, thank you so much for sharing xxx"

Another said: "That’s fantastic. Glad your kids are coping so well.Much easier for you with extra eyes keeping an eye on them too. I still struggle going away as an adult with autism.I like my home comforts too much and need a lot of space on my own.

"So it’s very overwhelming for me and exhausting by the time i’m home,although i do enjoy it once i’m there.I do love my routine. X"
